"Peter Frampton - Influenced by legends, Django
Reinhardt, Hank Marvin, Thelonius Monk, Jeff Beck.
Requested by legends George Harrison, Bill Wyman, John
Entwhistle for his session work. Performed with
legends Ringo Starr, David Bowie, Jack Bruce and
became a legend himself by creating the worlds best
selling live record to date ‘Frampton Comes Alive’,
thus proving at the time, that popular music wasn’t
restricted to studio efforts alone. In my opinion, a
Rock and Roll Hall of Famer is someone that learns
music as it is taught to them, reshapes it, adds
style, then sends it on it’s way to influence another.
Peter Frampton is one of those shining examples that
deserves to be recognized." G. Flanagan Exeter, Rhode Island |

"Peter Framptons talent as a song writer, guitarist and
entertainer has been overlooked far too long. Mr.
Framptons genuine, lifetime contribution to the world
of music is more than enough reason to be included
into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The ‘A&E
Biography’ of Peters life, prove this to be true." J. McCorkle Milwaukee, WI |

"The preservation of artistic accomplishment in music
making relies heavily on fair critical review along
with a keen sense of talent and undoubtedly, the
rightful passage of that talent to take its proper
seat in history. Style and trend oftentimes interferes
with the recognition of creative ability based on what
is fitting for the time, but public enthusiasm on the
other hand, cannot deny a talent that speaks for
itself. It seems to be a hit or miss reality, that can make or break an artist. In the case of Peter Frampton, in 1976, it was definitely a hit. Framptons long awaited triumph had come to full fruition while ‘Frampton Comes Alive’ blew through the charts with astronomical success that dominated much of the era with such hits as ‘Do You Feel Like We Do’, ‘Baby I Love Your Way,’ ‘Show Me The Way’ and ‘Lines On My Face’. Prior to this famed LP, we must also recognized the true dimensions of Framptons talent with incredible solo work that can be heard in songs like ‘The Lodger’, ‘Don’t Fade Away’ and ‘I Wanna Go To The Sun’ that come from those early vintage releases. Framptons later efforts, his self titled "Peter Frampton" CD, reflects an evolvement of style that incorporates new sounds with his original balladry. While "Young Island" reminds us of Peters melodic beginnings, "So Hard to Believe" introduces new dimensions of intensity and pace that give evidence to changing musical platforms in his work. Peters recent grammy nomination for best rock instrumental performance was initiated with the release of ‘Off the Hook’ from his ‘Live in Detroit’ CD. With current projects underway and the construction of his new recording studio, Peter Frampton is surely on the rise and deserves to take his rightful seat in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame." B. | "I've been a Frampton Fan since 1971. His
impressive credentials span approximately 38 years of contributions.
The fact that Frampton Comes Alive has sold the most copies of its
kind alone, should warrant admission to the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
Even if he had never achieved the Pop Superstar status, Frampton
should be recognized as the preeminent guitarist of our time. He
did for Mainstream Rock with jazz infused melodic riffs much like
Clapton did with the blues. Clapton was God, but Peter is sweeter."

"On behalf of Frampton Fans everywhere, we are amazed
and confused that he has yet to be inducted into the
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. I believe Peter Framptons
music and Live album sales speak for themselves. If
you look into his back round, and attend a concert, he
will amaze you and leave you with such a feeling of
gratitude for music, that you will be back for more.
So please, hear our pleas and put this great musician
in a place where we can all admire him, so future
generations can also come to appreciate his work." L. Baer Girard, Ohio |

"As musician, recording artist, stage performer, and craftsman, Peter Frampton
is an omnificent figure in the world of rock and roll…one who deserves a place
in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Beginning his recording career in 1967
with 'The Herd' and then later forming 'Humble Pie' with Steve Marriott,
Frampton brought his unique jazz/blues guitar sound to the forefront of classic,
hard rocking R&B. Then, early in his 30 year career as a solo artist,
he changed rock history with the release of 'Frampton Comes Alive', the biggest
selling live album of all time.
Through the years, Frampton has continued to record and play to live audiences. He keeps rock and roll alive for fans around the world--a difficult task in this age of rap and boy band pop. But Frampton's influence on rock doesn't stop with studio albums and live performances. He works on the cutting edge of the industry, developing instruments (Peter Frampton Signature Les Paul Guitar) and high-end handmade accessories for musicians. Products such as his 'talkbox' and isolated amplifier switcher are used today in bands such as Bon Jovi, Foo Fighters and Nine Inch Nails. Frampton also created the first ever concert DVD in HDTV format and 5.2 surround sound, 'Live in Detroit.' The many contributions Peter Frampton has made to rock music are just beginning to be publicly recognized. Along with his Grammy nomination in 2001, Frampton received two awards from Gibson Guitar: The Orville H. Gibson Lifetime Achievement Award and Best Guitar Performance of the Year. The time has come for this multi talented musician to get the deserved recognition as an inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame." M. Baldwin Boise, Idaho |

and it's about time that he gets the recognition for his musical
contributions. His records are still ranking high on the charts and

"In 1965, the music industry became aware of Peter Frampton and was an
accepted musician at an early age of 15. Thirty seven years later, he
has proven himself as an established writer and composer in a wide range
of projects. With the success of 'Frampton Comes Alive' in 1976, the
recording continues to break record sales in a live album category.
Peter's willingness to support other artists in their work has won the respect of his peers. In addition, his contribution of charity work only adds to his character. Peter Frampton's unconditional love of being a dedicated guitarist and songwriter who withstands the test of time is testimony to the artist he has become and always will be. There is no doubt that he should be applauded and therefore recognized into the Hall of Fame." K. Toth Staten Island, New York |
